Sekisui Plastics Co.,Ltd. <4228> [TSE-P] announced a performance revision after the market closed on October 29th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) has been revised downward from an expected profit of 700 million yen to a loss of 380 million yen (compared to a profit of 1.16 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a loss outlook.

Due to the deterioration of business performance in the first half of the year, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit has downwardly by 68.2%, from the previous forecast of 2.2 billion yen to 700 million yen (compared to 2.73 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 19.5% to 74.4%.
