PARKER, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 16%, Highest in Two Terms, Dividend Revised Upward by 5 Yen

Earnings ReportPARKER CORPORATION <9845> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 4th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) expanded 3.64 billion yen, an increase 96.2% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 16.0%, from the previous forecast of 5.00 billion yen to 5.80 billion yen (compared to 4.46 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 12.1% to 30.0%, reaches new record high for the first time in two terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 17.3% from the same period last year to 2.15 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 28 yen to 33 yen (compared to 25 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit surged 2.4 times that of the same period last year, reaching 1.83 billion yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 6.2% in the same period last year to 9.5%.
