Earnings ReportSHOWA SYSTEM ENGINEERING CORPORATION <4752> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 4th (16:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) increased 11.2% from the same period last year, reaching 617 million yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 983 million yen was 62.8%, also surpassing the five-year average of 57.3%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 10.1% from the same period last year to 366 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the ordinary profit grew 6.3% from the same period last year, reaching 320 million yen. The operating profit margin rose from 14.4% in the same period last year to 15.0%.
