VALUE CREATION CO.,LTD. <9238> [TSE-G] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 15th (15:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2025 (March to August) significantly dropped by 56.8% from the same period last year to 51 million yen. The progress rate against the 181 million yen full-year plan was 28.2%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 71.1%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the September to February period (second half) is expected to surge by 2.7 times that of the same period last year, reaching 130 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the ordinary profit significantly dropped to 10 million yen, a 78.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 7.2% in the same period last year to 1.5%.
