Guidance Update ReportTHE TOWA BANK,LTD. <8558> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on May 8th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 3.2 times, from the previous forecast of 2 billion yen to 6.38 billion yen (compared to 4.33 billion yen in the previous period), turning to a 47.2% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward from an expected loss of 0.06 billion yen to a profit of 4.31 billion yen (compared to a profit of 2.33 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a profit and leading to an 84.8% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 30 yen to 35 yen (compared to 35 yen in the previous period).
