The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) decreased 8.7% from the same period last year to 9.49 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 12.5 billion yen was 75.9%, below the five-year average of 83.8%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to expand 55.7% from the same period last year, reaching 3 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 3.55 billion yen, a 12.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 5.7% in the same period last year to 4.7%.
