Earnings ReportMITSUI & CO., LTD. <8031> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) at noon (12:00) on February 4th. The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) decreased 10.2% from the same period last year to 652 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 920 billion yen was 70.9%, almost the same as the five-year average of 71.4%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to decrease 20.6% from the same period last year to 267 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 240 billion yen, a 11.0% decrease compared to the same period last year.
