Earnings ReportCENTRAL AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS LTD. <8117> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 13th (14:20). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) increased 13.1% from the same period last year, reaching 4.71 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 3.9%, from the previous forecast of 9.00 billion yen to 9.35 billion yen (compared to 8.68 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 3.7% to 7.7%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for five consecutive terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 2.7% from the same period last year, reaching 4.63 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 56 yen to 57 yen (compared to 159 yen before the 3-for-1 forward stock split in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income grew 17.6% from the same period last year, reaching 2.75 billion yen. However, the operating profit margin decreased from 27.8% in the same period last year to 25.5%.
