The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) decreased 14.8% from the same period last year to 46 million yen, resulting in a decrease in profits compared to the previous forecast of a 79.6% increase.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 44.3%, from the previous forecast of 167 million yen to 93 million yen (compared to 84 million yen in the previous period), leading to a reduction in the profit growth rate from 98.8% to 10.7%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to expand 56.7% from the same period last year, reaching 47 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 88.9% from the same period last year, reaching 17 million yen. The operating profit margin remained almost flat, changing from 0.7% in the same period last year to 0.9%.
