TOLI Corporation <7971> [TSE-S] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 1st (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) decreased by 20.7% from the same period last year to 1.14 billion yen. The progress rate against the 4.25 billion yen full-year plan was 27.0%, which was higher than the five-year average of 15.7%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease by 18.2% from the same period last year to 3.1 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 490 million yen, a 38.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 3.2% in the same period last year to 2.1%.
