Earnings ReportShimadzu Corporation <7701> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 12th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 decreased 6.3% from the previous period to 72 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 19.5% from the previous period to 58 billion yen.
At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 62 yen to 66 yen (compared to 60 yen in the prior term), and has decided to continue with a dividend of 66 yen for the current term as well.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 22.8 billion yen, a 4.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin rose from 15.0% in the same period last year to 15.9%.
