ACMOS, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Downward to an Unexpected 23% Decrease

Earnings ReportACMOS INC. <6888> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on April 30th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026 (July 2025 to March 2026) decreased 17.3% from the same period last year to 412 million yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 35.7%, from the previous forecast of 700 million yen to 450 million yen (compared to 584 million yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 22.9% decrease in profit.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the downward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to June period (second half) has decreased 36.5%, from the previous forecast of 684 million yen to 434 million yen (compared to 551 million yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 21.2% decrease in profit.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 396 million yen, a 14.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 21.8% in the same period last year to 13.9%.
