Freund Corporation <6312> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 11th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2025 (March to August) turned into a loss of 96 million yen (compared to a profit of 195 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the September to February period (second half) is expected to grow by 9.7% from the same period last year, reaching 1.19 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 151 million yen, a 28.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 3.8% in the same period last year to 2.6%.
