Ricksoft Co., Ltd. <4429> [TSE-G] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 11th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2025 (March to August) decreased by 21.4% from the same period last year to 231 million yen. The progress rate against the 816 million yen full-year plan was 28.3%, also falling below the five-year average of 42.2%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the September to February period (second half) is expected to expand by 53.1% from the same period last year, reaching 585 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 77 million yen, a 48.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 7.6% in the same period last year to 3.4%.
