TOSO CO., LTD. <5956> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 12th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) expanded 396 million yen, an increase 33.8% compared to the same period last year. However, the progress rate toward the full-year plan of 630 million yen was 62.9%, almost the same as the five-year average of 64.7%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to decrease 1.7% from the same period last year to 234 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 86.5% from the same period last year, reaching 386 million yen. The operating profit margin improved from 3.6% in the same period last year to 6.0%.
