Earnings ReportNAKAYAMA STEEL WORKS, LTD. <5408> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on May 9th (13:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 dropped 33.7% from the previous period to 8.11 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 13.8% from the previous period to 7 billion yen. This will be the third consecutive term of declining profits.
At the same time, the company has decided to reduce the dividend this fiscal year to 24 yen, a decrease of 16 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 1.51 billion yen, a 46.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 6.1% in the same period last year to 4.4%.
