Guidance Update ReportNIHON KOGYO CO., LTD. <5279> [TSE Std] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on April 24th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 has been revised upward 36.2%, from the previous forecast of 470 million yen to 640 million yen (compared to 464 million yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 1.3% to 37.9%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (2H) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 32.1%, from the previous forecast of 530 million yen to 700 million yen (compared to 383 million yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 38.4% to 82.8%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has significantly increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 30 yen to 40 yen (compared to 30 yen in the previous period).
