POLA ORBIS HOLDINGS INC. <4927> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 11th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) decreased by 20.9% from the same period last year to 11.7 billion yen. The progress rate against the 17.9 billion yen full-year plan was 65.5%, also falling below the five-year average of 74.8%.

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to expand by 69.7% from the same period last year, reaching 6.17 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 604 million yen, a 82.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 7.2% in the same period last year to 8.4%.
