T.KAWABE & CO., LTD. <8123> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 11th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) expanded to a loss of 132 million yen (compared to a loss of 46 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow by 28.4% from the same period last year, reaching 515 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 27 million yen, a 68.6% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit/loss margin worsened from 2.2% in the same period last year to -0.1%.
