Business Engineering, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 15%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast, Dividend Effectively Increased

Earnings ReportBusiness Engineering Corporation <4828> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results at noon (11:30) on November 7th. The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) expanded 3.39 billion yen, an increase 39.6% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 15.4%, from the previous forecast of 5.20 billion yen to 6.00 billion yen (compared to 4.67 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 11.1% to 28.2%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for ten consecutive terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 16.0% from the same period last year, reaching 2.60 billion yen.
At the same time, due to a planned 5-for-1 forward stock split is scheduled for December 31, the annual dividend for the current fiscal year has been revised from the original plan of 156 yen to 100 yen (equivalent to 188 yen before the forward stock split) This effectively represents a 20.5% increase in the annual dividend.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 31.7% from the same period last year, reaching 1.64 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 24.8% in the same period last year to 26.3%.
