Earnings ReportKIKKOMAN CORPORATION <2801> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) at noon (11:30) on November 7th. The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) decreased 9.9% from the same period last year to 31.3 billion yen.
However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 0.7%, from the previous forecast of 59.6 billion yen to 60.0 billion yen (compared to 61.6 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 3.4% to 2.7%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 6.5% from the same period last year, reaching 28.6 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 16.0 billion yen, a 4.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 11.6% in the same period last year to 11.2%.
