Money Forward, Inc. <3994> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 15th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending November 2024 (December 2023 to August 2024) was a reduced loss of 3.28 billion yen (compared to a loss of 4.94 billion yen in the same period last year).

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary loss for the September to November period (4Q) is expected to further decrease to loss of 110 million yen (compared to a loss of 1.79 billion yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (3Q), the consolidated ordinary loss improved to a deficit of loss of 1.14 billion yen (compared to a loss of 1.56 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically improved from -18.1% in the same period last year to -10.3%.
