Software Service, Inc. <3733> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on September 6th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending October 2024 (November 2023 to July 2024) increased by 24.1% from the same period last year, reaching 6.14 billion yen. This progress accounts for 84.7% of the full-year plan of 7.25 billion yen, also surpassing the five-year average of 74.0%.

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the August to October period (4Q) is expected to drop by 32.4% from the same period last year to 1.1 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from May to July (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 931 million yen, a 31.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 15.9% in the same period last year to 12.4%.
