Earnings ReportCERES INC. <3696> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results at noon (12:00) on October 31st. The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2025 (January to September) increased 19.6% from the same period last year, reaching 1.82 billion yen. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 3.25 billion yen was 56.1%, also falling below the five-year average of 74.2%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to grow 23.8% from the same period last year, reaching 1.42 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 65.9% from the same period last year, reaching 0.75 billion yen. However, the operating profit margin worsened from 8.7% in the same period last year to 7.5%.
