Y.S.FOOD CO.,LTD. <3358> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 14th (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) dropped 38.6% from the same period last year to 35 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 53 million yen was 66.0%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 80.3%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to grow 28.6% from the same period last year, reaching 18 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the ordinary profit significantly dropped to 8 million yen, a 60.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 6.0% in the same period last year to 0.3%.
