Global Ltd, Jan-Mar (3Q) Ordinary Profit Turns to Profit

The Global Ltd. <3271> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 8th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026 (July 2025 to March 2026) dropped 47.2% from the same period last year to 0.73 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 3.50 billion yen was 20.9%, also falling below the five-year average of 42.4%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to decrease 14.5% from the same period last year to 2.77 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of 0.01 billion yen (compared to a loss of 0.33 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin significantly improved from -0.9% in the same period last year to 2.9%.
