The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2025 (October 2024 to March 2025) significantly dropped 61.4% from the same period last year to 91 million yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 55 million yen is 165.5%, already exceeding the target and also exceeding the same period of the previous year of 100.9%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary loss for the April to September period (2H) is expected to expand to a loss of 36 million yen (compared to a loss of 2 million yen in the same period last year).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 42 million yen, a 65.9% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 7.8% in the same period last year to 3.6%.
