SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 754.65 yen to The Nikkei. Below, IBIDEN <4062> was at 119.67 yen, Murata Manufacturing <6981> was at 41.51 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 39.42 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 30.67 yen.
The top positive contributor was Tokyo Electron <8035>, pushing up The Nikkei by 277.56 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 123.09 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 36.20 yen, KYOCERA <6971> at 26.82 yen, DISCO <6146> at 23.47 yen.
By industry, 5 of the 33 industries gained. Marine Transportation Sector ranked first, followed by Banks Sector, Machinery Sector, and Air Transportation Sector. Information & Communication Sector, Nonferrous Metals Sector, and Oil & Coal Products Sector were among the top losers.
