Nikkei 225 close on the 19th = falling for the 4 days in a row, 265 yen lower to 60,550 yen
On the 19th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 265.36 yen (-0.44%) lower from the previous day to 60,550.59 yen, falling for the forth days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1111, lost was 430, and unchanged was 23. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.
Tokyo Electron <8035> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 211.19 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 207.57 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 192.68 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 186.65 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 50.95 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 278.37 yen. This was followed by Recruit Holdings <6098> at 72.81 yen, KONAMI <9766> at 57.66 yen, KDDI <9433> at 30.37 yen, BANDAI NAMCO <7832> at 27.96 yen.
By industry, 27 of the 33 industries gained. Services Sector ranked first, followed by Insurance Sector, Banks Sector, and Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Precision Instruments Sector, and Glass & Ceramics Products Sector were among the top losers.
