Axelspace Holdings signs basic agreement with JAXA to provide AxelLiner Laboratory
Axelspace Holdings <402A> announced after Tuesday's close that its subsidiary, Axelspace, has signed a basic agreement with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to provide its on-orbit demonstration service, "AxelLiner Laboratory."
The agreement covers JAXA's fundamental research and on-orbit experiments for high-maneuverability electric propulsion systems. Axelspace expects to conclude a formal discretionary consignment contract with the space agency within the next several months. The contract is projected to span approximately four years, starting in fiscal 2,026. Axelspace Holdings said the impact on its business performance will be realized over the same four-year period.
The service is part of Axelspace's "AxelLiner" one-stop satellite platform, which aims to streamline development and mission execution for spacecraft projects.
