The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 327.44 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 153.87 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 72.41 yen, IBIDEN <4062> at 66.04 yen, Kioxia <285A> at 52.33 yen.
FAST RETAILING <9983> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 72.41 yen to The Nikkei. Below, KONAMI <9766> was at 22.29 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was at 20.45 yen, TOYOTA MOTOR <7203> was at 18.44 yen, TERUMO <4543> was at 16.36 yen.
By industry, 9 of the 33 industries gained. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked first, followed by Information & Communication Sector, Metal Products Sector, and Glass & Ceramics Products Sector. Transportation Equipment Sector, Banks Sector, and Pharmaceuticals Sector were among the top losers.
