TSI Holdings Extends Stock Gains as March Same-Store Sales Rise for Second Consecutive Month
TSI Holdings <3608> extended its gains. The company's monthly sales report, released after the market close on the 7th, showed that same-store sales ? encompassing both brick-and-mortar retail stores and online channels ? rose 5.8% year-on-year in March, marking the second consecutive month of year-on-year growth.
Despite an estimated headwind of approximately 1.9 percentage points from one fewer holiday compared to the prior year, spring apparel sales held up well amid rising temperatures. Men's brands continued to deliver strong performance, while certain key brands that had underperformed in the prior period are showing early signs of a turnaround.
