TSI Holdings Reports Second Consecutive Month of Year-on-Year Sales Growth at Existing Stores in March
TSI Holdings <3608> released its monthly sales data for March after market close. Combined same-store sales across retail outlets and online channels rose 5.8% year-on-year, marking the second consecutive month of year-on-year growth.
While the calendar effect of one fewer holiday compared to the prior year weighed on results by an estimated 1.9 percentage points, spring merchandise sales progressed steadily on the back of rising temperatures. Performance was supported not only by men's brands, which have continued to show strength, but also by a recovery in certain key brands that had underperformed in the previous period.
