Retty shares surge on significantly raised full-year profit forecast
Retty Inc. <7356> surged sharply, opening with buy orders despite overall market weakness. The company, which operates a word-of-mouth gourmet platform, has seen lackluster business performance and its stock price has languished below \200. However, it has recently attracted short-term buying from individual investors. After the close of trading on the 30th, the company announced a revision to its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026, significantly raising its net profit projection from the previous \32 million to \124 million (compared to \11 million profit in the prior year). The increase is attributed to the recording of extraordinary gains from the partial sale of securities holdings. This news has prompted aggressive buying from investors anticipating further upside.
