On the 4th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 2,033.51 yen (-3.61%) lower from the previous day to 54,245.54 yen, falling for the third days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 122, lost was 1445, and unchanged was 23. It was a completely discounted deal with more than 90% of stocks falling in price.
ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 327.57 yen to The Nikkei. Below, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 229.43 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 191.53 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 67.19 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 66.02 yen.
The top positive contributor was BayCurrent Inc <6532>, pushing up The Nikkei by 7.99 yen. This was followed by TDK <6762> at 5.26 yen, Nintendo <7974> at 3.81 yen, BANDAI NAMCO <7832> at 3.51 yen, SONY <6758> at 3.51 yen.
By industry, all 33 industries were losers. Oil & Coal Products Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Nonferrous Metals Sector, Wholesale Trade Sector, Glass & Ceramics Products Sector, Banks Sector, and Machinery Sector.
