The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 228.63 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 197.55 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 140.39 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 85.03 yen, FANUC <6954> at 54.15 yen.
Nintendo <7974> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 13.54 yen to The Nikkei. Below, TERUMO <4543> was at 11.36 yen, Nitori <9843> was at 10.24 yen, AEON <8267> was at 9.78 yen, Tokio Marine <8766> was at 6.72 yen.
By industry, 17 of the 33 industries gained. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked first, followed by Electric Appliances Sector, Machinery Sector, and Mining Sector. Land Transportation Sector, Air Transportation Sector, and Other Products Sector were among the top losers.
