Nikkei 225 close on the 2nd = rebound for the first time in 5 days, 385 yen higher to 44,936 yen
On the 2nd, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 385.88 yen (0.87%) higher from the previous day to 44,936.73 yen, rebound for the first time in fifth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 544, lost was 1032, and unchanged was 37. The number of declining stocks significantly exceeded the number of rising stocks.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 213.13 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 205.56 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> at 99.66 yen, DISCO <6146> at 36.23 yen, DAIICHI SANKYO <4568> at 26.16 yen.
FAST RETAILING <9983> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 38.79 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 21.21 yen, SONY <6758> was at 17.34 yen, TERUMO <4543> was at 15.35 yen, Trend Micro <4704> was at 14.82 yen.
By industry, 16 of the 33 industries gained. Pharmaceuticals Sector ranked first, followed by Nonferrous Metals Sector, Precision Instruments Sector, and Metal Products Sector. Electric Power & Gas Sector, Services Sector, and Air Transportation Sector were among the top losers.
