The top positive contributor was Tokyo Electron <8035>, pushing up The Nikkei by 119.53 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 67.53 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 65.84 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 29.98 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> at 12.76 yen.
DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 13.17 yen to The Nikkei. Below, TDK <6762> was at 5.57 yen, SCREEN Holdings <7735> was at 3.92 yen, DISCO <6146> was at 2.97 yen, Asahi Group <2502> was at 2.23 yen.
By industry, 22 of the 33 industries gained. Precision Instruments Sector ranked first, followed by Electric Appliances Sector, Rubber Products Sector, and Services Sector. Food Products Sector, Electric Power & Gas Sector, and Mining Sector were among the top losers.
