Nikkei 225 close on the 4th = rebound, 641 yen higher to 42,580 yen
On the 4th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 641.38 yen (1.53%) higher from the previous day to 42,580.27 yen. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1123, lost was 437, and unchanged was 56. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 190.43 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 136.41 yen, FAST RETAILING <9983> at 93.19 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 21.61 yen, SONY <6758> at 19.41 yen.
NIDEC <6594> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 37.82 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> was at 7.43 yen, KEYENCE <6861> was at 3.98 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 3.38 yen, RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453> was at 3.01 yen.
By industry, 29 of the 33 industries gained. Banks Sector ranked first, followed by Nonferrous Metals Sector, Insurance Sector, and Information & Communication Sector. Mining Sector, Rubber Products Sector, and Chemicals Sector were among the top losers.
