SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 231.96 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 174.23 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 29.88 yen, KONAMI <9766> was at 23.64 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 22.96 yen.
The top positive contributor was KYOCERA <6971>, pushing up The Nikkei by 11.21 yen. This was followed by KDDI <9433> at 8.10 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> at 7.43 yen, HONDA MOTOR <7267> at 6.79 yen, ORIENTAL LAND <4661> at 5.30 yen.
By industry, 18 of the 33 industries gained. Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector ranked first, followed by Food Products Sector, Land Transportation Sector, and Mining Sector. Nonferrous Metals Sector, Other Products Sector, and Information & Communication Sector were among the top losers.
