The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1373, lost was 229, and unchanged was 19. The percentage of rising stocks exceeded 80%.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 197.73 yen. This was followed by TDK <6762> at 80.53 yen, FANUC <6954> at 76.31 yen, TOYOTA MOTOR <7203> at 60.44 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 55.71 yen.
RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 10.2 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Ajinomoto <2802> was at 6.21 yen, DISCO <6146> was at 4.93 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 2.84 yen, KONAMI <9766> was at 2.03 yen.
By industry, all 33 industries were gainers. Transportation Equipment Sector ranked first, followed by Banks Sector, Metal Products Sector, Precision Instruments Sector, Pharmaceuticals Sector, and Insurance Sector.
