Nikkei 225 close on the 15th = rebound for the first time in 4 days, 218 yen higher to 39,678 yen
On the 15th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 218.40 yen (0.55%) higher from the previous day to 39,678.02 yen, rebound for the first time in forth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 625, lost was 930, and unchanged was 68. The number of declining stocks significantly exceeded the number of rising stocks.
The top positive contributor was Tokyo Electron <8035>, pushing up The Nikkei by 93.70 yen. This was followed by FAST RETAILING <9983> at 63.21 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> at 55.37 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 41.53 yen, DISCO <6146> at 13.37 yen.
DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 16.54 yen to The Nikkei. Below, RYOHIN KEIKAKU <7453> was at 8.61 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 8.31 yen, ITOCHU <8001> was at 6.15 yen, KYOCERA <6971> was at 4.86 yen.
By industry, 13 of the 33 industries gained. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked first, followed by Insurance Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, and Pharmaceuticals Sector. Wholesale Trade Sector, Real Estate Sector, and Pulp & Paper Sector were among the top losers.
