ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 90.47 yen to The Nikkei. Below, KONAMI <9766> was at 51.72 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 48.4 yen, BANDAI NAMCO <7832> was at 25.94 yen, TERUMO <4543> was at 22.22 yen.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 44.70 yen. This was followed by DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> at 25.78 yen, KDDI <9433> at 17.36 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> at 6.49 yen, SONY <6758> at 5.99 yen.
By industry, 24 of the 33 industries gained. Real Estate Sector ranked first, followed by Air Transportation Sector, Pulp & Paper Sector, and Rubber Products Sector. Other Products Sector, Machinery Sector, and Nonferrous Metals Sector were among the top losers.
