On the 28th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 1.71 yen (0.00%) lower from the previous day to 37,722.40 yen, falling for the first time in forth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 790, lost was 764, and unchanged was 74.

The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 30.34 yen. This was followed by DAIICHI SANKYO <4568> at 11.77 yen, Kao <4452> at 4.76 yen, Sumitomo Realty & Development <8830> at 4.56 yen, Lasertec <6920> at 4.19 yen.

Recruit Holdings <6098> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 19.26 yen to The Nikkei. Below, BANDAI NAMCO <7832> was at 12.67 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> was at 10.68 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 9.31 yen, KDDI <9433> was at 8.58 yen.

By industry, 17 of the 33 industries gained. Insurance Sector ranked first, followed by Oil & Coal Products Sector, Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector, and Air Transportation Sector. Services Sector, Iron & Steel Sector, and Precision Instruments Sector were among the top losers.
