Tokyo Electron <8035> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 66.36 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 37.25 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 37.12 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was at 16.56 yen, TDK <6762> was at 16.22 yen.
By industry, 21 of the 33 industries gained. Textiles & Apparels Sector ranked first, followed by Marine Transportation Sector, Metal Products Sector, and Pharmaceuticals Sector. Services Sector, Mining Sector, and Electric Appliances Sector were among the top losers.
