Nikkei 225 close on the 31st = falling for the 3 days in a row, 1,502 yen lower to 35,617 yen

On the 31st, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 1,502.77 yen (-4.05%) lower from the previous weekend to 35,617.56 yen, falling for the third days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 52, lost was 1572, and unchanged was 10. It was a completely discounted deal with more than 90% of stocks falling in price.

Only one The Nikkei component rose in value, while 224 stocks fell.The top negative contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, with one brand pushing down The Nikkei by 149.15 yen.ADVANTEST <6857> at 141 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 139.58 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 87 yen, FANUC <6954> at 40.61 yen.

The only positive contributor was Nitori <9843>, which pushed up The Nikkei by 5.43 yen.

By industry, all 33 industries were losers. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Other Products Sector, Insurance Sector, Oil & Coal Products Sector, Securities & Commodities Futures Sector, and Machinery Sector.
