Nikkei 225 close on the 25th = rebound for the first time in 4 days, 172 yen higher to 37,780 yen
On the 25th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 172.05 yen (0.46%) higher from the previous day to 37,780.54 yen, rebound for the first time in forth days. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1006, lost was 561, and unchanged was 67. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 23.08 yen. This was followed by TERUMO <4543> at 17.89 yen, TDK <6762> at 14.30 yen, KONAMI <9766> at 12.17 yen, NEXON <3659> at 12.17 yen.
ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 71.81 yen to The Nikkei. Below, 7&i <3382> was at 3.11 yen, M3 Inc <2413> was at 2.37 yen, FUJITSU LIMITED <6702> was at 2.25 yen, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries <7011> was at 1.89 yen.
By industry, 27 of the 33 industries gained. Precision Instruments Sector ranked first, followed by Real Estate Sector, Textiles & Apparels Sector, and Glass & Ceramics Products Sector. Banks Sector, Electric Power & Gas Sector, and Fishery, Agriculture & Forestry Sector were among the top losers.
