ADVANTEST <6857> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 48.66 yen to The Nikkei. Below, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 24.86 yen, TDK <6762> was at 16.52 yen, NITTO DENKO <6988> was at 12.82 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> was at 9.04 yen.
The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 30.19 yen. This was followed by BANDAI NAMCO <7832> at 18.05 yen, SONY <6758> at 16.44 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 16.28 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 13.81 yen.
By industry, 14 of the 33 industries gained. Banks Sector ranked first, followed by Other Products Sector, Mining Sector, and Pharmaceuticals Sector. Transportation Equipment Sector, Metal Products Sector, and Insurance Sector were among the top losers.
