On the 11th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 235.16 yen (-0.64%) lower from the previous day to 36,793.11 yen. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 417, lost was 1175, and unchanged was 43. The number of declining stocks significantly exceeded the number of rising stocks.

SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 43.8 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 30.48 yen, FANUC <6954> was at 13.32 yen, TOYOTA MOTOR <7203> was at 12.25 yen, SONY <6758> was at 11.34 yen.

The top positive contributor was ADVANTEST <6857>, pushing up The Nikkei by 34.72 yen. This was followed by FAST RETAILING <9983> at 12.43 yen, CHUGAI PHARMA <4519> at 7.69 yen, KONAMI <9766> at 7.07 yen, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> at 4.93 yen.

By industry, 4 of the 33 industries gained. Retail Trade Sector ranked first, followed by Warehousing & Harbor Transportation Service Sector, Mining Sector, and Other Products Sector. Securities & Commodities Futures Sector, Nonferrous Metals Sector, and Services Sector were among the top losers.
