Konoshima Chemical Co.,Ltd. <4026> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on March 12th (14:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending April 2025 (May 2024 to January 2025) was 1.31 billion yen, a 2.1% increase compared to the same period last year. However, the progress rate toward the full-year plan of 2.3 billion yen was 57.0%, also falling below the five-year average of 73.1%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the February to April period (4Q) is expected to grow 25.4% from the same period last year, reaching 0.98 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from November to January (3Q), the ordinary profit decreased to 0.33 billion yen, a 19.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 6.5% in the same period last year to 5.2%.
